Situated on a pier on the Manset Shore and alongside a working boatyard, this home offers expansive views of the harbor of Southwest, down Somes Sound and out to the Great Harbor. Located on the water’s edge, this cottage also enjoys use of a beach, pier and dock right out your front door.
FIRST FLOOR: Large open Living/Dining room area; four sets of glass sliding doors open onto large deck with 180 degree views; large Kitchen; Pantry with stack washer/dryer, large Bedroom with queen bed, and private bath with shower and harbor views.
SECOND FLOOR: Large master bedroom with king bed and excellent view of Southwest Harbor; Full bath with tub/shower; Bedroom with twin beds; Fourth Bedroom with queen bed; Full bath with shower; Large family room at the shore side the home offers bar sink and dynamic panoramic view of the Great Harbor, up Some Sound and over to Bear Island Light, the mountains of Acadia and all of Southwest Harbor.
PORCH/DECK: Large open deck with furnishings faces harbor and beyond. Note: with its limited rails and waterside location, first floor deck is not suitable for toddlers. Second floor balcony off family room also overlooks harbor.
NOTE: This cottage has access to pier and dock which is located right off the dock. If you wish to bring a boat, moorings are available for an additional fee and are based on availability and size of boat.
EXTRAS: Access to the pier and dock is available but children must be accompanied by an adult and children under 13 MUST wear a life jacket while on the pier or dock. If you bring you own boat a public launching ramp is located just down the street. Docking on Manset Yacht Service docks is allowed with advance notice to the yard and is for loading and unloading only. Boats can not be left unattended.
