Beth Ingebritson

Beth comes to The Knowles Company with years of experience and a degree in Landscape Architecture. She found Maine through her love of adventure and travel, arriving by sail on a traditional schooner from the Caribbean where she had been running charter yachts with her husband. She and her husband knew Mount Desert Island is where they wanted to live and raise a family and have called the Island home for sixteen years.

Beth lives in the village of Town Hill with her husband, Wythe Ingebritson, whom has enjoyed a career in the boat building industry, having the opportunity to work for Morris Yachts and The Hinckley Company. She is the mother of two sons, Lucas and Nate, keeping her involved in the happenings of the school and sporting events. Beth and Wythe have been restoring their historic home, providing her with a significant understanding of the challenges and rewards of owning an older home.

As a member of the Town Hill Village Improvement Society, she was one of a few that were instrumental in the establishment of the Town Hill Community Playground. She is also a member of the Bar Harbor Garden Club and has designed several private gardens on the island.
