Blakeslee Bell

Born in Washington DC, Blakeslee moved to Northeast Harbor as a small child and spent her formative years here. Graduating from the Madeira School followed by St. Lawrence University, Blakeslee abandoned plans for law school and threw herself into teaching at Hurricane Island Outward Bound School. She taught sailing expeditions off the coast of Maine and in the Florida Keys for nearly a decade, teaching adolescents, adults, and Military Veterans.

Following an amazing run with Outward Bound, Blakeslee then spent a number of years making long haul yacht deliveries. Finally shedding her vagabond ways, she moved back to Northeast Harbor.

Blakeslee is thrilled to be part of the Knowles Company Rentals team, bringing with her an intense work ethic, and a passion for this beautiful island she is grateful to call home.
