Poised above a bold rocky shorefront on Blue Hill Bay, this home on the Quietside of Mt. Desert Island enjoys a lovely secluded setting away from the bustle of summer crowds and is ideal for two to six people. Two large decks and a sun room provide numerous ways to appreciate the view, not to mention the visits of seals, porpoises, otters and eagles. The villages of Southwest Harbor, Northeast Harbor, and Bar Harbor plus Acadia National Park's main entrances and trails are fifteen to thirty minutes away by car.

About the Area
Tremont is located on the western side of Mount Desert Island, and is made up of four small villages – Bass Harbor, Bernard, West Tremont and Seal Cove. More rural in nature, Tremont is a mix of year-round residents and summer visitors attracted by the “quiet side” of Mount Desert Island.
