Abel’s Lobster
207-276-5827
www.abelslobstermdi.comAbel’s gets everyone’s vote for “lobster pound in the best setting.” Set in a spruce grove overlooking the incomparably beautiful Somes Sound, you can sit outside at picnic tables lit by torcheres or inside a large and cozy knotty pine dining room. Of course, the lobster dinner and blueberry pie are great, as are the Caesar salads with either lobster or grilled chicken. But the other thing you get at Abel’s is first-rate, fast and friendly waitress service. In fact, it’s both the setting and the service that distinguish Abel’s (and set its prices a bit higher). The business is still family-run.

Nestled between Cadillac and Dorr Mountain in Bar Harbor, Maine, Kebo is a spectacular 6,131-yard, classic link and parkland golf course. Since much of Kebo Valley Golf Course shares its borders with Acadia National Park, you may encounter many forms of wildlife, such as Whitetail Deer and Red Fox, during your round. American Bald Eagles are also frequently seen soaring above the links.Southwest Harbor
The Causeway Club
207-244-3780
www.causewayclub.org
The Causeway Club golf course offers nine holes of link style golf. With multiple tee options, the front nine plays to 32 par measuring 2266 yards. The back nine of 2410 yards plays to 33 par. We take pride in our small greens of velvet bent grass. Velvet has the finest texture of all the bent grasses and is one of the oldest grasses used for golf courses in Europe. It has served us well for over 80 years exhibiting strong resistance to disease and drought all while offering the golfer a smooth, velvety putting surface. Errant shots off of four tees bring water into play and, while length is not a major factor, proper club and shot selection will be rewarded. Designed by Alonzo Yates, all nine holes were completed in 1923 on what can modestly be described as a fabulous piece of property.Northeast Harbor

Your Neighborhood Pharmacy And So Much More We meet with our neighbors every day, helping them navigate the often complicated waters of healthcare. From answering questions about Medicare to administering immunizations like the flu shot or shingles vaccine, we are here to help. We also carry a full line of traditional pharmacy goods including cosmetics, cough and cold medicine, deodorant, skin care, hair care, and first aid.Summer 2020: We make deliveries in the Southwest Harbor area for those who are unable to make it into the store.
