FIRST FLOOR: Granite steps lead from the parking area to a gracious entrance along a walkway to the house. The tile floor entry and coat closet leads through a glass door into the Living Room with vaulted ceiling, wood floors, fireplace, and a bank of sliding glass doors onto the Deck. A recently updated Kitchen now overlooks the Dining Area, creating a more social space while preparing meals. A corridor leads from the Living Room in one direction to the Guest Suite. This Guest Suite offers two Bedrooms - one with a Queen bed, the other with a King (two twin beds made up as a king with insert) and a shared full Bath. Both bedrooms have sliding doors opening to the Deck with water views. A door separates the Living Room from the Guest Suite, permitting additional privacy and quiet. On the other side of the Living Room/Dining Room/Kitchen/half Bath area is the house's pièce de résistance - its charming Library, which has a Mediterranean feel with its terra cotta walls, fireplace, glass doors to the Deck, beautiful bookcases overflowing with volumes, a wet bar, television, and an elegant spiral staircase to the second floor. There is also a Study adjoining the Library. The Study has two outer doors, one leading to the Guest House and the other to the front walkway.
SECOND FLOOR: The spiral staircase in the Library leads to the Master Bedroom Suite with Queen bed, built-in bookcases and views of the water. A recently renovated large private bathroom with shower. There is a Laundry area on this level too.
GUEST HOUSE: The adjoining Guest House with sliding doors to private Deck can accommodate four guests and includes two Bathrooms, laundry and a kitchenette. The first floor open Living Area offers sleeping for two on matching Twin-sized daybeds, and opens to the Kitchenette and Bathroom with Laundry. Up the spiral staircase is the second Floor loft Bedroom with King (two twin beds made up as a king with insert), and a Bath with shower only. A small private deck off the upper level offers a separate back entrance. The Guest House sleeps four comfortably.
OUTDOOR SPACES: A wrap-around Deck with access from nearly every room, offers a wonderful spot from which to entertain or relax. A patio table with seating for six and umbrella, two zero gravity lounge chairs and bench seat are available.
DOCK/GARDENS: In addition to Windfall's mature landscaped gardens, a little used town dock is a 5-minute walk from the house, as well as the public Asticou Azalea Garden, Thuya Garden and the Asticou Terrraces.
