About 15 minutes from Bar Harbor's village center and less to Southwest Harbor, this home is within easy reach of restaurants and shopping. Major Acadia entrances are also just a short drive away, not to mention other Quiet Side attractions!
FIRST FLOOR: Enter through a bright hallway and dining area with cathedral ceilings and table that seats six to eight comfortably. Kitchen area with pass through to a Breakfast Room overlooking water views with table that seats four and access to a nice outdoor deck. Open Living area with stereo and door to small deck on north side of the house. Bedroom with Queen. Spacious semiprivate Bathroom with double vanity and combined tub and shower.
SECOND FLOOR: Study with water views, Double bed and sofa bed. Another spacious and semi-private Bathroom with double vanity and combined shower and tub. Master Bedroom with Queen bed, spacious dressing room, and wonderful water views.
GROUND FLOOR: Spacious den area with widescreen TV and sliders to front of house. Bedroom with Queen bed. Combined Laundry and third semiprivate Bathroom with combined tub and shower. Exercise area facing windows with view.
DECK: Deck overlooking Western Bay with furnishings, including a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Small charcoal grill as well as a gas grill.
EXTRAS: Garage space for parking or storing personal bikes, kayaks or other outdoor items you choose to bring. Trail access through the neighboring Blagden Nature Preserve for birdwatching and walks to the Preserve's protected shoreline.
NOTE: Limited wireless internet for checking email from laptop, not for cell phone use or streaming.

Bar Harbor's village and surrounding rural residential areas are a popular destination for visitors to Acadia National Park. The town center offers diverse shops, restaurants and activities. Acadia National Park's Hulls Cove entrance, as well as other major entrances, are located just outside the village center. Not all properties listed as 'Bar Harbor' are actually in the village of Bar Harbor, since the town of Bar Harbor encompasses the northern half of Mt. Desert Island, most of which is quite rural in nature. However, homes within this area are usually between five and fifteen minutes' drive to the village center.
