About this area:

Bar Harbor's village and surrounding rural residential areas are a popular destination for visitors to Acadia National Park. The town center offers diverse shops, restaurants and activities. Acadia National Park's Hulls Cove entrance, as well as other major entrances, are located just outside the village center. Not all properties listed as 'Bar Harbor' are actually in the village of Bar Harbor, since the town of Bar Harbor encompasses the northern half of Mt. Desert Island, most of which is quite rural in nature. However, homes within this area are usually between five and fifteen minutes' drive to the village center.

Vacation with friends

This beautifully furnished home made for a wonderful time. The location is walking distance to Bar Harbor, easy drive into the National Park and well-equipped for fun meal times and quiet reading time after spending the day hiking. We loved how much space there was for enjoying ourselves. Outdoors in the back, on the front sun porch, living room and upstairs bedroom. This is the perfect place to spend a vacation in Bar Harbor.

Family vacation

We had a great vacation, the house had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding and towels were top quality. Walking distance to town was great, had off street parking for our car and our son parked in front of the house. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

What a wonderful, peaceful and quiet retreat The Parsonage is! It was even more beautiful than the pictures. There were special touches everywhere, and the house was very well stocked with soft sheets, clean white towels, all items needed to cook many meals at home. Our family was so comfortable and happy for the entire week! Thank you!

We were quite impressed by the cleanliness and condition of the home. It’s decorated beautifully, and had all the comforts of home. The location is great too. You can walk easily to town and waterfront attractions.
