MAIN HOUSE:
FIRST FLOOR: Formal Living Room with polished wood floors, antiques and three distinct entertaining areas. Custom Bar. Warm and inviting well-equipped Kitchen opens to two seating areas and the Dining Area with expansive table, and waterfront views. Service Kitchen with additional refrigerator, sink and dishwasher for entertaining. Private Study has walk through to Full Guest Bath with shower.  Bedroom with King bed and private entrance to first floor bathroom with combined tub and shower. Exit to deck off Kitchen or Living Room.
 
SECOND FLOOR: A grand and winding stairway leads to four upper bedrooms and three full bathrooms, as well as laundry with washer and dryer.
Bedroom 1: Primary Bedroom with King bed, loveseat, antique desk and chair, TV, and private en suite bathroom with combined tub and shower and lovely views of the bay. This room opens to the upper deck with views of the water and islands.
Bedroom 2: Two bunk beds in this room for the kids - a Twin over Double bed, and a Twin over Twin with a Trundle. Full bathroom shared with room 3 (tub only).
Bedroom 3: King bed, desk and chair, TV, and shared en suite bathroom with tub only.
Bedroom 4: A second Primary Bedroom room with King bed, sofabed, desk and chair, TV, and private en suite bathroom with combined tub and shower. This room has access to the upper back deck (over the garage), which wraps around to the front of the house for water views.

OUTDOOR SPACES:  The huge wrap-around decks on the ground floor and second floor offer many areas to dine and relax with impressive views of the water and gardens.

NOTE: Fireplaces not available for tenant use.

GUEST HOUSE:
FIRST FLOOR:  Foyer leads to comfortable and well appointed Living Room. The Dining Room seating for six. A roomy, well equipped Kitchen, with plenty of counter space leads to a back Laundry Room, a full Guest Bathroom with a tub and shower. The comfortable Den, with a sofabed and yet another large flat screen TV has easy access to the deck. A lovely Primary Bedroom suite with King Bed, sitting area, TV and spacious Bath with separate large garden tub and shower.

SECOND FLOOR:  Stairs lead to the second floor hall that overlooks the Living Room. Two extra-large bedrooms make up this floor. The first in an en suite Bedroom with King bed, sitting area and TV. Second Bedroom with King bed, sitting area and TV.  Full Bath with tub and shower off hall. (Four full baths in all).

OUTDOOR SPACES: Deck with furnishings for entertaining, and relaxing.  Granite ring firepit.

PLEASE NOTE: Owner/caretaker will be living in the basement apartment. Although there is no water view from the house there is water access.

About this area:

Bar Harbor's village and surrounding rural residential areas are a popular destination for visitors to Acadia National Park. The town center offers diverse shops, restaurants and activities. Acadia National Park's Hulls Cove entrance, as well as other major entrances, are located just outside the village center. Not all properties listed as 'Bar Harbor' are actually in the village of Bar Harbor, since the town of Bar Harbor encompasses the northern half of Mt. Desert Island, most of which is quite rural in nature. However, homes within this area are usually between five and fifteen minutes' drive to the village center.
