Sea Smoke and Soft Light on Mount Desert Island, Maine
Sea smoke is not a particularly common occurrence around Mount Desert Island (MDI), Maine, but when it does appear it usually inspires the locals to brace against the cold in order to get some photos.
Sea smoke is caused when very frigid air moves over warmer water. Recently Knowles Broker/Owner Mia Thompson captured these lovely images around Sargent Drive in Northeast Harbor and other locations on MDI.
